Sustainable Features

  • Onsite Living Machine, an organic wastewater treatment system, provides reclaimed water for plumbing flush valve fixtures in the office and make up water for the cooling tower.  
  • Stormwater flows to the Port’s regional detention system where it is treated before release into the Columbia Slough, a significant source of water for the Slough conveyance system.

  • Extensive and Intensive Green Roof reduces stormwater volume.

  • Extensive water-based energy conveyance system connects ground source heating and cooling sinks to radiators in occupied office spaces.
